Data deletion instructions

This page explains how to request deletion of personal data processed through Inovinn. What we process and why is described in our privacy policy.

If you have messaged a hotel (guests)

If you wrote to a hotel on WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger, that hotel is the controller of your messages; Inovinn is the software that processes them on the hotel's behalf.

  1. You can send your deletion request directly to the hotel. The hotel deletes your messages and contact details with Inovinn's deletion tool.
  2. You can also send it to us: email support@inovinn.com with the subject "Data deletion request". Include the name of the hotel and the phone number or username you used.
  3. We forward your request to the hotel, complete the deletion together with the hotel and tell you the outcome.

From your Facebook or Instagram settings

If you used Inovinn with your Facebook account (for example, when connecting your business account):

  1. On Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites.
  2. Find Inovinn in the list and click Remove.
  3. Removing the app stops Inovinn's further access to your account. To delete data processed earlier, write to us at the address above.

Customers (hotels and panel users)

  • Channel connection: When you disconnect a channel under Settings → Channels in the panel, its Meta access tokens are deleted and no new messages are received.
  • User account: Your hotel's administrator can close your account; you can also write to us to delete your own account.
  • End of service: When the contract ends, all data of your hotel is deleted, subject to your right to export it.

What is deleted and what is kept

  • Message content, attachments and contact details are deleted or anonymised.
  • Records we are legally required to keep (e.g. invoices and contracts) are kept for the statutory period, then deleted.
  • Deleted data drops out of backups within 35 days.

We complete requests within 30 days. If we cannot fulfil a request (for example, because of a legal retention duty), we tell you why in writing.
